Righteousness exalts a nation (or even a person), but Sin is a reproach to any people‭” (Please see related verses Proverbs 14:34),

Righteousness exalts a nationbut Sin is a reproach to any people‭!” Karl and Joyce Sapp Sunday 3/16/2025  Praise and Prayer Update

Greetings in Jesus’ Wonderful and Precious Name!

Because you faithfully pray for us and this ministry, today being the last day of UAFs Spring Break and me being finally healing from a 4-week sinus infection last Friday afternoon, what a JOY pointing to Christ, a dying respected Athabascan elder, Emil, suffering in the last stages of lung cancer to whom we have been witnessing since last fall, who after hearing the gospel again, shouted, “Amen! Praise God! Hallelujah!” Upon leaving, he expressed great interest in reading the Christian literature left with him. The Lord willing, we have plans to revisit him today after church before he goes back to his village Tuesday, with more follow-up literature for both him and his wife, who also was keenly interested!

But, what a contrast when speaking to a customer in a store who retorted, “I’m too big a sinner!”, then repeated himself, and then to prove himself, he turned to his busy wife and asked if he then could tell some of the sins he had done, to which though she shook her head, no. But, praise the Lord, after telling him about the conversion of the thief on the cross, he finally took the tract, saying, “Well, I guess I’ll take and look it over!” as he slowly left!

Ray, for whom you have long prayed, was very happy when he recently visited us at our home for some pizza he had purchased when he came to receive his gift of a bilingual Bible. But due to our government’s current attitude towards foreign immigrants, he is thinking he needs to return to his hostile homeland after all his strenuous efforts. So, as he carefully finished reading Psalm 91 in both languages with great interest, we prayed and hugged. Thank you for your prayers also for him and God’s perfect will regarding his stay and the well-being of his beloved family in his absence.

I have already witnessed the same Muslim man dressed in total black from head to toe at UAF twice recently. It is still Ramadan until the evening of Sunday, March 30, and I found this very helpful resource to help these precious souls. Challenge: May we each, in Christ’s love, bookmark this link, study it, and lovingly share it with Muslims all around us. These are many handy documents found in the Koran’s errors, contradictions, and falsehoods.

Aaron, following our Friday University Bible study, a very kind car-parts clerk and a fledgling follower of Christ, said that as a 17-year-old “wanting to get as far away as possible from my dysfunctional home from which I was told to leave”, 13 years ago he said he hitchhiked 4 days all the way to Alaska, now works three different jobs, but being 8 PM and other customers so few to help, he volunteered to change out both an old car battery and replaced both weakened headlights. So, during some 40 minutes under the hood barehanded in the cold and dark while I assisted him with my small cell phone flashlight, he shared his hard life story as I also related that I saw the hand of God similarly during my teenage years in a difficult home myself as well. Finished and smiling, he happily volunteered his weekly work schedule so that if we ever needed any more assistance! He then was given some tracts and a TTB.ORG 5-year Bible audio card explaining the entire Bible and available in over 100 languages, for his growth in the Lord. Also, by the way, you can request your own FREE cards, too, in packs of 10. Just call them at 1 (800) 65-BIBLE or email at BibleBus@TTB.org, today!

Congo Update: As the radical M23 Islamic terrorists continue brutally killing and destroying in Eastern Congo in their ever-advancement towards its mega-city capital, Kinshasa, where our IFM fellow-missionaries have labored since they were spearheaded by the legendary Herbert Grings, then a single missionary went there for Christ in 1917. As you read their attached current assessment, thank you for joining us in mightily petitioning the God of heaven for their divine protection and praying for the salvation of the rebels themselves, all to the glory of Christ Jesus, our soon-coming Saviour!

Also, please enjoy reading online “100 Reasons/Ways to Use Tracts”, ordering some for yourself, your church and begin being a very special blessing for Christ today!

Finally, last Wednesday afternoon, along with a powerful gospel tract and a full page of Bible verses of “Christ’s Words of Warning”, was handed to a longtime Mormon friend, Ann, who thoughtfully replied, “I’ll read them tonight.” Please join us in praying for her and her family’s salvation.

O, may we all work and pray that more precious souls will be reached by the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ before it’s eternally too late!

Much love and prayers always for you and for yours,

Karl and Joyce Sapp

The Christian and Death

“Someday you will read in the papers that Moody is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now. I was born of the flesh in 1837, I was born of the spirit in 1855. That which is born of the flesh may die. That which is born of the Spirit shall live forever.”

— D.L. Moody

Remember, because it is true: “For GOD so loved the world (YOU), that He
gave His only begotten Son (the LORD Jesus Christ), that whosoever (YOU)
believeth in Him
(the LORD Jesus Christ), should NOT perish (to be punished for sin, forever in HELL), but have everlasting life (to be forgiven of sin and live forever in HEAVEN  🙂 — St. John 3:16.
